The goal is to help you change the way you perceive food and fitness, and develop a positive body image. If you struggle with an eating disorder, you should know that I believe clients can recover & live a healthy, happy life.
Children with feeding disorders may be at risk for nutritional deficiencies due to their limited food or liquid intake. They may refuse entire categories of foods and have a very short list of acceptable foods. The family may say that their child would happily miss meals and does not appear to have an appetite. Feeding disorders can be medical or behavioral or a combination of both. Medical reasons can be related to premature birth, a history of feeding tubes or frequent hospitalization, developmental disabilities & swallowing problems.
